Oh, YCTMS...Sophisticated Lady is so great!! I like how he performsthe story inside the song. I envision him, singing at a bar or night club...and Robert Lamm sit down, singing too along with Jason, while both of them look at an elegant "Sophisticated Lady", drinking a glass of wine and tears running through her cheeks. The Lady is crying silently, thinking about the love she has lost..Meanwhile, Jason fills the place with his crystal clear voice and his great presence. I am very glad you love so much Jason's songs on N&D! Awe, that's neat how you imagine "Sophisticated Lady" to be Veronica!! I saw what you said in my head as I read your words too It would make a great music video indeed!! Oh yes, Jason's voice moves me in N&D for sure

Maybe I'm alone in this, But the one thing that sticks in my mind is on the video tape, I'm not sure if its on Live at the greek theater or on And the band played on when Jason sang Hard to say I'm sorry. Right at the segue to getaway(You're gonna be the lucky one). Talk about perfect harmonics. It did and still does give me chills

Hi, Mark!!It's good to see you posting at the forum, welcome!! Well, Do you mean when Jason sings "You're gonna be the lucky one", or when he sang backing vocals on "Get Away"? I have to confess I haven't seen none of those video sassettes, but i have heard Jason performances of "Hard to Say Im' Sorry" and he really does a very good job singing it. His voice sounds very sweet on the moments it has to be sweet, and he really rocks during the agressive uptempo moments, like in "Getaway". His voice blends very well with Bill's, and Jason sounds very agressive i think. I really think Jason know how to sing rock songs very good, unlike what some other persons think.

Oh, I agree Vero that Jason sings the up-tempo/rockier songs very well too He has the voice to do sweet/soft ballads or more agressive style of songs too.
