Yeah, Sue, so how good we are agreeing!! Well, Celine has a great voice. She could sound so smooth and sweet in "Will You Still love Me". And I'm sure Jason would feel very flattered and happy to be singing with her! Another singer I have been thinking about for a duet with Jason could be Vanessa Williams, since her style of singing is very sophisticated, caliming and sensual. She could make a good combination with Jase.And...what about Faith Hill? We have to recognize that country singers are so over there!!! they are everywhere, but the music they do is not necesarily pure country. I think that the ballads they ar doing sound good. Mariah Carey could be a good option...but I'm not so sure. I am not a big fan of Kelly Clarkson, but I think she could do a nice job with Jason, too. I would be very happy of seeing Jason performing with some latin/puertorrican female singers...In english, of course.True, not many people in the U.S.know about them, but I think most of them are great and I would feel very proud and emotional about it. :)For example, a christian singer called Sheila, a chicane/mexican/puertorrican young singer called Bethzaida and the puertorrican diva Ednita Nazario. I really wish they all were very wellknown in the US by the sajon musiclisteners.

Oh, I've always loved Vanessa William's too, she has such a beautiful voice!! I agree she should do a duet with Jason too, great choice!!

I agree Jason and Celine would be wonderful.
I also think with Faith Hill, and maybe Kelly Clarkson. Mariah would be cool too if she would transition back to doing a pop song this time. I don't know about her either.
As long as you don't say Whitney Houston. I mean she had a voice but it just isn't too up to par of where it used to be. I don't know but I ain't sayin' nothin'

Yes, Daly, Whitney has a voice, but...I am not sure I would want her to sing with Jason!!! And her voice...se's great, but I don't really like her that much. It's a pain she doesn't sing all that good no more.
Mariah used to sing wonderful pop songs...I think she has wasting herself lately, singing all those hip hop songs. a little hip hop is not bad, but Mariah could be like Celine dion, and she is not. Her songs are not that great anymore. That's really lamentable.

Sue, yes, Vanessa is good, and she has a soft, tender, smooth voice that make her an ideal option to sing with Jason.

Though I think she is lying to herself just because she is biracial and thinks she has to choose a side musically. Geeze sing what you want but don't forget what got you big. Hero was a pop song!! Man!!

I have a problem with the duet idea. Everytime I hear anyone from Chicago sing with anothe female I get jealousl. One, because I love to sing and it would be a dream of mine to sing with anyone from Chicago, and two because I would just be plain jealouse of any other girl getting that pleasure. I felt that way when I listened to XXX for the first time and heard Shelly Fairchild singing with Bill (and I don't even like Bill like that).
I also think that if it absolutely had to happen that Celine Dion would be the totally wrong person. She is too powerful of a singer and I don't think their voices would fit well together. Jason would need someone with a silkier, mellower voice. I can't think of anyone right now but if I do I'll let you know.

Well you are kind of lucky Scheffan. Chi doesn't have a lot of songs with females or even with much guests in that matter.

Well...Scheffan has a point. I don't know either if Celine would be a good match to sing with Jason. They both would have to have this tremendous armonie work, to sound good toghether. Maybe Celine could arrange his voice in a way that Jason could be comfortable singing with her, and in a way that both voices could be well heard.
I hink Jason style of singing has changed a lot through the years. The color of his voice is the same, but the texture, the style, I think they are different. I think, if Jason sang today in the way he used to sing "We Can Last forever", "Explain it to my heart", "Man to woman". "Heart in pieces"...Maybe then, he would make a good match with Celine.

Yes, they both can sing those songs, or make a duet, in a lower register. that is what most veteran artist do when they cannot reach the so high notes with comfort, and besides, Celine's voice is very high and, to fix her style and voice with Jason, Celine may sing in a lower register to make a good combination with Jase.

If only Jason or Celine don't scream.

Maybe Celine shouldn't sing with Jason now. I don't think they blend. Hey! I can change my mind you know? And nothing against Jason or Celine.
