I was wondering what did everyone think or thought of their performances?
I thought they were awesome and during the interviews the four originals were funny as usual.
The performances were;
Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?(yeah it's about time you stop playin' that song, lol) I liked that they performed the song but it's getting tiring. I have never seen them in concert but the one's I seen on TV/video/etc all they do is perform that same tired ass song. No Robert !
Ok sorry to get out of hand. I thought the performance was ok. Robert did a good job singing like always.
Love Will Come Back-awww I love this one. This performance was the best out of the other 2. Jason did such a great job. Man! Just wonderful. One thing tho it sounded like the horn section was off during the song. I dunno.
Look Away-it was good. I don't think Bill was that annoying either. I liked this performance as well.
I am just glad I saw them today. Seeing performances like that reasures me on how they are such a great band.
The only thing I didn't understand or like is why was it that the 4 originals were the only one's to be interviewed? Was it that they were just the original Chi memebers? Why not include Bill/Jason? 20 something years with band should count. I kind of conisder them as regular members than regular replacements. It just didn't seem right in away.

Hi there *smiles*
I went to the city to watch Chicago perform on the today show. I arrived in Manhattan around 6:30 AM and as I was walking I heard Jason singing "Love will come back". I thought I died and went to heaven. He was rehearsing before the show, they all were, but he rehearsed that a few times and when they finally did it, it was so perfect. It was a magically experience for me.
When they were leaving, and were almost at the vans to leave, I was lucky to make eye contact with Jason. He was walking with Walt. And I asked him if I could have his autograph and he said "Yes, of course you can." I am still not back down to earth. hehe I also went to the concert that night at Jones Beach. It was great as always. *smiles*
Now, as for the *newer* members of the band...Jason, Tris and Keith, for some reason they never get to be part of the interviews. They are still considered new. And even when they left Rockefeller Plaza.. 2 vans -- the originals in one and the other 3 in the other. When they travel in their tour buses.. the originals are on one bus and again the other 3 are on the other bus. I am still trying to figure out how many years must he have in to move up. LOL

LOL Hello skydream, You were soo lucky that you got to see Chi at the Today show. How did that happened? That was awesome. How was the concert as well? Do they actually perform any of the new songs in concert too? Btw I am happy for you and the autograph. If I were to meet Jason or any of the band members I will die myself. Ok does Bill go on the bus with the originals? That's just dumb! I think that it looks wrong that they would seperate themselves like that. I don't care who's been in the band longer it's still Chicago. So the 4 originals make Chicago? What are the other 4? Nonscence.!! The last time I checked Chicago had 8 members. That all count. Oh well doesn't surprise me because look how they treated other originals who had left the band(Cetera/Seraphine). Like they done nothing for the band. Terry I know is praised a lot. That's good but somehow not fair.!Not trying to sound childish. Good review!

Hi there!! To answer your questions, I was lucky enough to get to the Today Show because I live in NY, actually Long Island, so it was close enough to get there for me. The only inconvenience is getting up at 4 am and try to be functional. hehe Here is the link to for the Chicago concert at Rockefeller Plaza for the Today Show. You must get passed the commercial first and then their little interview.. and finally the song, Love will come back. And then it goes into Chicago playing "Look Away" and then another commercial .. ugh.. and finally the last song "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is". video.msn.com/v/us/msnbc.htm?g=2e0f921f-99ef-4517-8bf6-de3f350dd797&f=... The concert I saw in the evening was at Jones Beach and they were playing with Hughie Lewis and the News. Yes, they sang some of the songs from the new CD to start to push them. I think they played 2 of them.. "Love will come back" and "Feel". It was a very good concert. If you get the chance to see them this tour, you should try. Bill travels on the tour bus with Lee, Jimmy, Walt and Robert. I thought I left someone out. lol I basically go to Chicago to see Jason and Keith. I have to agree with you, it is dumb and doesn't make sense to me. If I didn't see it, I would not believe this. I was thinking how some jobs you can retire after 20 years of service and when your in Chicago, you still don't have your years in.. *laughing* But all in all -- they are a great band.. good musicians

True after all the things they do they are still a great band. True!
I am not able to attend of any of their shows but if I could I would definately for sure. I just have a bit a situation for that to happen. Someday! Thanks for answering the questions. I just wasn't if they performed any of the new songs off 30. Also thanks for the link for the performance.
